Lord Enmar told me of the ruins of Ravensmoor, where undead have been sighted in large numbers. I should talk to Winslow about information he has gathered in his patrol of the area, assuming he is recovered his injuries.
This is what Guard Winslow he whispered to me:
“Winslow’s Report To The Owl’s Head Guard: At Lord Enmar’s order, I lead a detachment of guards to the ruins of Ravensmoor, where it had been rumored that a group of bandits had taken up residence. We found our entry clear, and delved inwards into an ancient tomb. Yet the dead then got up of their own accord, and attacked us by surprise! We lost five good men in minutes, an d I called a retreat, but the majority of our squad, including Guards Renfrew, Cavill and Heidi, did not make it out of that tomb. The dead attacked us with sword and bow and magic fire, and did not relent until we were over the horizon. Then the Red Sashes attacked us as we struggled to return. Guards Jaclyn and Keith fell before their assault, and I fear I am the only one who made it back to Owl’s Head. Ravensmoor is a place of great evil now, and I fear it will take us all.”
I think I’m on the edge of something big. No, something huge! This is the same thing Wycliffe was talking about. I am still looking for some companions to explore Ravensmoor with me. Shame I haven’t seen or heard anything from Durfol for weeks now.
“Winslow has been healed, with my assistance, enough to give his report on the expedition to the ruins of Ravenmoor. He bade me deliver his report to Enmar, but clearly it will fall on me to finish Winslow’s patrol and discover Ravenmoor’s secrets.”
I went upstairs to talk with Lord Enmar.
“Lord Enmar told me of the ruins of Ravenmoor, where undead have been sighted in large numbers. I should talk to Winslow about information he has gathered in his patrol of the area, assuming he is recovered enough from his injuries.”
Well, Winslow is alive, but has been sleeping a lot lately because of the near-mortal wounds.
